CrossFit Coach and Personal Trainer

Health and wellness has always been a part of me and what I do and I feel privileged to be able to share my passion, education and experience with people both during personal training interactions as well as during the CrossFit classes that I teach.

After competing in gymnastics for many years my journey in the fitness industry officially started when, after retiring from gymnastics, I completed the following certified courses:

  • Exercise Science
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Personal Training
  • Aerobics Instructors
  • Kick Boxing Instructor

My own personal training business in Johannesburg eventually led to an incredible opportunity of traveling abroad to manage the entire health and wellness division on board the Queen Mary 2.  Apart from being an incredible adventure and allowing me to travel the world the experience and knowledge I gained while working with exercise and health specialists from the US based Canyon Ranch was truly valuable and I believe has changed the way I approach the service I produce for my clients.

After returning to South Africa I moved back to Johannesburg at which point, and after discovering CrossFit, I completed to more qualifications:

  • CrossFit Level 1
  • CrossFit Gymnastics 

My journey has led me to the point where I now coach CrossFit classes at CrossFit Platinum where, for a long time, I was responsible for the beginners classes and to educate and prepare new members for their CrossFit journey.

More than this I have again started my own personal training business our of CrossFit Platinum where my main aim and focus is to help my clients be the best version of themselves that they can be.  Working closely with physical therapists and with a keen understanding of human movement and gymnastics I specialize in:

  • Strength and Skills Development
  • Rehabilitation from Injury
  • Conditioning for Injury Prevention
  • Joint Mobility and Movement

I believe that your personal training session should be about you and your goals and during your sessions you will have my full and complete attention as we work together to make your health and wellness goals a reality.

Outside of CrossFit and fitness I spend most of my time with my husband, who I met doing gymnastics many years and who also does Crossfit, and our two fur-kids - Rocky and Ziggy.  If you'd like to see more of my two Boston Terriers you can check out my Instagram feed which is pretty much dedicated to them.
